On the embankment at Shiawassee Park in Farmington, Mi this tree, with it's twisted bare roots, seems like it's hanging on for dear life! Each time there's a big rain more soil washes away to the erosion and a lot of trees take a nose dive into the Upper Rouge below. I like the interesting shapes of the roots and I know when I see a tree like this I better take a photo because chances are it won't be there for too long!
