Drawing - Art Marker On Paper
Description
This is an abstract, non digital, drawing done using, pen and ink, and artist marker, on 11"x14" paper. It has a lot of abstract stripes, irregular rectangular shapes, (all with their own designs) and some circles. Like with most of my artwork I don't intentionally mean to represent anything but I think my unconscious mind steps in and what I see in the world around me, especially from my visits to Detroit, plays a huge part. What you see in it, l think it's like looking at clouds, everyone sees something different. What ever you see, l hope you enjoy it!

I absolutely love your marker work, Sandra - wish my brain could wrap around doing abstracts like this! L/F, sharing on FB, Twitter, and Pinterest.

Wonderful, Sandra. Great colors against the darker areas. With the expanding and shrinking shapes I get the feeling of a city breathing, the energy created by its inhabitants, buildings, rivers passing through, and so on. Love the individual details in each area. L/F
