Description
When I walk around Farmington Michigan I notice a lot of manhole covers with interesting abstract designs in them, like this one. With it's rays in the middle and small round circles in bigger circle I was intrigued enough to stop and take a photograph. The contrast caused by the rain made all the shapes stand out more and when I digitally enhanced it by removing the color and adding more texture to the rough metal the designs stood out even more nicely. In the word Detroit I love how the rain puddled in the letters too. It's a Detroit pride thing!
