Description
This is a digitally enhanced black and white photograph of a old, hung to a pole with wire, sign, that says, "Royal Oak Books". At the time this photograph was taken, it sat in front of a, out of a business, closed, bookstore, on Woodward Avenue, in Royal Oak Michigan.
If you were driving down Woodward Avenue, "M-1", the main drag, that runs from Detroit Michigan to Pontiac Michigan, the unique green sign with so much character was hard to miss.
Sad that it is gone but fortunately for me, I photographed the sign before it was removed and another business took it's place!
