Description
This is a photograph of the upper half façade of an abandoned building, with interesting round windows and red and white painted bricks and trim. It sits on Michigan Avenue, not far from, “Mexican Town”, in Detroit Michigan.
A true landmark with a long history, this old Detroit beauty was built in 1895 and for the first 90 years it was the, “Firehouse Ladder 22”, then from 1991 until 2009, was the the “Casa De Espana Restaurant”, until sadly had to close it's doors because of hard time.
Though vacant and in need of care, like so many abandoned buildings in Detroit, it’s still a fascinating building to look at and admire with it’s superb architecture and craftsmanship that went into building it.
